Welcome to ellipsis – a website dedicated to democratizing and accelerating English Studies in Indian colleges and universities. Our mission is to provide a centralized resource hub for English Literature students and educators, offering a wide range of study materials, previous questions, texts, and other helpful resources for the syllabi of various Indian Universities.

We believe that every student should have access to high-quality resources and support. With ellipsis, we aim to level the playing field and provide a platform for students to excel in English Studies.

Our website currently offers resources for Calcutta University, and we’re continuously working to expand our reach and include other universities. We understand that English Studies can be challenging, and our goal is to make it easier and more accessible for students across India.

Our team consists of educators, tech enthusiasts, and professionals with a passion for literature and education. We are committed to providing the best possible resources and support for students, and we’re always open to feedback and suggestions to help us improve.

Mission Statement

Ellipsis is a non-profit project run by Intertext Research. We understand that one of the key challenges to language and literature education is employability. While thousands of students graduate with Honours and Major degrees in language subjects, studies indicate that only a small percentage of these students are employable. With the spectre of Artificial Intelligence looming over our heads, more are more students are likely to face difficulties while seeking employment. Our ultimate aim is to remedy that. At present, we aim to democratize and accelerate English Studies in Indian colleges and universities by providing resources and study materials. In the near future, we hope to be able to deploy tools, provide courses, and train students for a sustainable future.
