Since the globe started rotating, so born was I,
Living across ages long I’m blessed never to die;
For me the world knew itself, connected and formed about,
Infinite souls I bound along and will continue without any doubt.
In various forms appear do I differing from tongue to tongue,
From place to place, from time to time, eternally I am sung;
Committed I am to the voices, pages and pens,
The world runs because of me thus my job never ends!
Once a baby borns clung am I to his life,
Live with I many a lives, my soul’s river never falls dry;
Often rough am I, often I’m very smooth,
Sometimes veiled I am while sometimes I stand raw and nude:
Oracles can sing because of me, for me the commoners can shout,
Holding my hand lies are told while truths often are blurted out.
In my name many a times blood spilled and lot a lives were lost,
Yet voices still hold me, my relation with them is nerverendingly long;
Often the swords clashed, often the throats were strangled,
Yet killing me is never possible, without me the world will fall apart detangled;
Prized am I over the lives for me people are even ready to die,
Running the civilizations all along, I the language will reign along being their pride!
